Fair and transparent
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
1. Our approach
Planning a private Moroccan journey often requires advance payments to riads, camps, drivers and other local partners. This policy aims to be fair to travellers while respecting costs already committed on their behalf.
2. Deposit and final balance
The deposit and payment schedule are stated in your written proposal. Unless explicitly described as refundable, a booking deposit is non-refundable because it covers planning and supplier commitments. If a final balance is not paid by the agreed date, the booking may be treated as cancelled.
3. Traveller cancellation
Cancellations must be sent in writing. Unless your proposal includes different supplier-specific conditions, the following schedule applies to money received beyond any non-refundable deposit and transaction fees:
No refund is due for a no-show or for unused portions after a tour has begun.
4. Cancellation by Youssef Tour Guide
If we cancel before departure for an operational reason within our control, all money paid to us for the cancelled service will be refunded. We are not responsible for incidental costs such as international flights, visas or vaccinations.
5. Force majeure
When performance becomes impossible because of events beyond reasonable control, cash refunds cannot be guaranteed for money already paid to suppliers. Where practical, we will seek supplier refunds or offer a travel credit valid for the period stated in writing.
6. Changes and transfers
We will try to accommodate date changes. Supplier charges and seasonal price differences may apply. A booking may be transferred to another eligible traveller with written agreement and enough notice to update reservations.
7. Processing approved refunds
Approved refunds are returned through the original or mutually agreed payment method. Please allow up to 15 business days after approval. Bank, card and currency-conversion charges are not refundable.
