Your route

Moment by moment.

Timings are a flexible guide, not a fixed schedule. Youssef adapts each private departure to conditions, opening hours and your pace.

  1. Early morning

Marrakech to the Middle Atlas foothills

Meet your private driver for the roughly three-hour journey, with a comfort stop along the way.

  2. Late morning

Meet a local guide and orient yourself above the falls before beginning the descending trail.

  3. Midday

    Olive-grove loop & cascade base

Walk for 2–3 hours on stone steps and uneven paths. At the river, choose an optional short boat ride when water and operating conditions are safe.

  4. Afternoon

    Lunch and final viewpoints

Pause at a local restaurant overlooking the valley, then complete the loop at an unhurried pace.

  5. Evening

    Return to Marrakech

Wondering what guests say? Read live Tripadvisor reviews

  1. Expect many steps plus wet, polished and uneven surfaces; supportive shoes are important.
  2. Wild macaques should never be fed, touched or used as photo props.
  3. Water volume changes seasonally, and the route may be adjusted after rain.
