Your route

Day by day.

Timings are a flexible guide, not a fixed schedule. Youssef adapts each private departure to conditions, opening hours and your pace.

  1. Day 1

    Marrakech arrival & medina orientation

Meet at the airport or your accommodation and settle in. Depending on arrival time, take a private introduction to Jemaa el-Fna, the Koutoubia exterior, the souks and one major monument selected around opening hours.

  2. Day 2

    Marrakech · Casablanca · Rabat

Travel to Casablanca for a pre-booked official visit to Hassan II Mosque, then choose Art Deco streets or the Habous quarter. Continue to Rabat for the night.

  3. Day 3

    Rabat · Chefchaouen

Visit Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and Kasbah of the Oudayas before driving into the Rif Mountains. Arrive for an evening walk through Chefchaouen’s blue medina.

  4. Day 4

    Chefchaouen · Volubilis · Meknes · Fes

Enjoy a quieter Chefchaouen morning, then explore the Roman site of Volubilis with a qualified site guide. Continue through the monumental heritage of Meknes and reach Fes.

  5. Day 5

    Fes in depth

Spend a full day with a licensed Fes guide among Bab Boujloud, madrasas subject to opening, artisan quarters, fondouks and a tannery viewpoint. The day is cultural and story-led, without forced shopping stops.

  6. Day 6

Fes · Middle Atlas · Merzouga

Travel through the Middle Atlas, Midelt and the Ziz Valley into the desert. At Merzouga, transfer by dromedary or 4x4 for sunset, dinner and a camp night.

  7. Day 7

Merzouga · Todra Gorge · Dadès

Leave the dunes through the Tafilalet region, walk beneath Todra Gorge and follow the oasis road into the Dadès Valley for dinner and overnight.

  8. Day 8

Dadès · Aït Ben Haddou · Marrakech

Travel through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate, explore Aït Ben Haddou on foot and cross the High Atlas back to Marrakech in the evening.

  1. This compact grand loop changes hotel most nights and includes several long drives. The 12-day Complete Circuit offers a more comfortable rhythm.
  2. Hassan II Mosque entry requires an official timed tour and modest dress; the sequence may shift to match its current schedule.
  3. Driving times are estimates and can change with traffic, weather, roadworks and mountain conditions.
  4. Accommodation category, exact inclusions and room configuration are confirmed in your personal proposal.
  5. Pack a small bag for your night at the desert camp; larger luggage can stay safely in the vehicle.
  6. Desert temperatures change sharply by season. Camp heating, air-conditioning and private-bathroom availability depend on the selected camp category.
  7. Families are welcome, but child seats, walking tolerance and long drive days should be discussed before booking.
