Imperial city · Gateway to the Atlas

Marrakech, the Red City.

Ochre ramparts, hidden riads and the nightly theatre of Jemaa el-Fna, with the High Atlas on the horizon.

About Marrakech

What to know before you go.

Founded in the 11th century, Marrakech grew into an imperial capital whose medina is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is Youssef’s home city, which is why the souks, palaces and quiet courtyards feel like a conversation rather than a checklist.

It is also the natural gateway to everything south and east: the Atlas villages, the kasbahs of the Draa and the dunes of the Sahara all begin here.
